Privacy Policy

The short version

This website sets no cookies and has no forms. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics — privacy-first and cookieless, so it counts page views without tracking you as an individual. The price questionnaire works in your browser — your answers stay on your device unless you go on to pay or book a call, where a summary of your selection is included. Personal data only comes into play at that point, on the booking and payment providers' own pages.

Who we are

webbirch.com is operated by Mingle Media (CVR/VAT no. DK45960323), trading as Webbirch, registered at Store Kongensgade 63, 4. th, 1264 Copenhagen K, Denmark. We are the data controller. For any privacy question, contact info@webbirch.com.

What data we collect

  • On this website: there are no forms or accounts. The pricing questionnaire runs in your browser; your answers are only sent if you choose to pay or book a call, where a summary of your selection is included so we know what you need.
  • When you email or message us: your name, contact details, and whatever you write (by email or WhatsApp).
  • When you book a call: the name, email, business name, and any details you give Cal.com, our scheduling provider. If you used the questionnaire, a summary of your selection is pre-filled into the booking (you can edit it before sending).
  • When you pay: the name, email, billing details, and payment card information you give Stripe, our payment provider. Card details go to Stripe only — we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Technical logs: the site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request data to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
  • Aggregate analytics:we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and basic performance. It's cookieless and privacy-first — no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, and no personal profile of you.

How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry and hold the call you booked.
  • To provide the services you buy, take payment, and keep required records.
  • To keep the website available and secure.

Lawful basis (EU & UK GDPR)

We are established in Denmark, so we process personal data under the EU GDPR — and, for our UK visitors, the UK GDPR. Our bases are contract (taking the steps you ask for and delivering services you buy), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, operating and securing the site), legal obligation (keeping tax and bookkeeping records), and consent where we ask for it.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies. Our analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless and doesn't track you across sites or build a profile of you, so there is still no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to. The only thing we keep on your device is your chosen currency, saved in your browser's local storage — a functional setting, not a cookie, with no personal data and no tracking. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first. When you use Stripe's payment pages or Cal.com's booking pages, those services set their own cookies under their own policies (linked below).

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the providers needed to run the site and service:

International transfers

These providers are headquartered in the United States, so some data is transferred outside the EU/EEA and the UK. Those transfers are protected by approved safeguards — the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK extension), or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Transaction and accounting records are kept for as long as the law requires — five years under the Danish Bookkeeping Act. We delete personal data once there is no longer a reason to hold it.

Your rights

Under the EU and UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis. To exercise any of these, contact info@webbirch.com.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. The on-page price calculator does its arithmetic in your browser; it sends nothing on its own — your selection is only transmitted if you choose to pay or book a call.

Complaints

You can complain to our supervisory authority, the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk). If you are in the UK you may instead contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), and elsewhere in the EU/EEA your local authority. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first — email info@webbirch.com.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
